Tuck Dartmouth

Tuck Dartmouth has been ranked amongst the top 15 schools by leading evaluators including Forbes and FT.

Founded in 1900, the business school named after Amos Tuck, Tuck School is the first graduate school of management.

 Foundation

1900 saw explosive growth in commerce and industry with an increasing number of graduates entering Business. It was William Jewett Tucker's concern for business leadership in a broad sense,  in his own words "training commensurate with the larger meaning of business" supported by Edward Tuck's willingness to help that led to the formation of the now, Tuck School of Business.

 USP

Tuck's student:faculty ratio - 46:1 - one of the lowest, is one of the major attractions of Tuck. Tuck has plans on adding 10 more members into its faculty without increasing its student strength. The smaller class size of 240 students also facilitates better interaction.

The Cohen Leadership Development Program, first implemented in 2003, provides specific areas for students to explore and expand their potential as leaders. The program comprises of coursework, periodic self- and peer-assessments, one-on-one coaching, career counseling and creation of an individualized leadership plan to help students develop their leadership goals and plans to achieve them.

Tuck has six academic and administrative buildings which house large and small classrooms, group study rooms, conference rooms, lounges, a business/engineering library, and offices for faculty and staff. Tuck classrooms are located in Tuck Hall, Byrne Hall, and the Murdough Center, with wide range of study spaces available around campus, including in Stell and Whittemore Halls.

Whittemore Wing for Information Technology with its cutting-edge information technology environment offers the latest in desktop and mobile computing along with facilities for video conferencing, multimedia production, data visualization, and group collaboration. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the campus.

Tuck students have access to Feldberg Library's renowned collection of business and management periodicals, newspapers, directories, and online resources. Students also have access to Dartmouth's many other libraries and collections in all seven other Ivy League schools.
